Tony Mangan has completed the North American leg of his global run and is having a short break in Ireland before taking on South America.
In the past year, the 48-Hour Indoor World Record Holder ran across Ireland, then Newfoundland, and then down through the USA all the way to California. He subsequently ran through Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Panama.
In all, Tony has covered over 14,000km or 8,700 miles in 323 'run days'. Moreover, he has run over 323 marathons in a little over a year.
He will shortly return to Panama to recommence his epic journey by running the length of South America.
