Richard Donovan will be Race Director of the Trail Race at the 2nd Commonwealth UltraDistance Championships in North Wales on 24th September 2011.
The 55km Trail Race will take place in Newborough Forest on the Isle of Anglesey. Runners will compete over a 5-lap course that will take them through Newborough's single track trails, fire roads and the beautiful habitat of Llanddwyn sands.
In the interim, Donovan will be responsible for organising the Trail World Championships in his native county Galway on 9th July.
