Eoin Keith takes two titles

Eoin Keith won the Mourne Way Ultra Marathon (85km) on 12 June and then went on to win the Gaelforce 24 Hour Mountain Bike Challenge on 19 June.

Eoin is now showing a great return to form having been hampered by injury earlier in the year. It was his second consecutive win of the Mourne Way Ultra, this time finishing ahead of Don Travers (who won the 2010 Newry City Marathon), and Barry Tinnelly in second and third, respectively. For full results, see www.mournewaymarathon.com.

A week later, Eoin won the Gaelforce 24 Hour Mountain Bike Challenge (solo), also for the second year in a row. Undoubtedly, his recent impromptu cycle from Dublin to Galway to attend an UltraRunning Ireland meeting was useful preparation for the event.
