Eoin Keith is UltraRunning Ireland's 2009 Male Athlete of the Year.
Eoin set a new Irish 24-Hour Record in May when he finished 5th at the World 24-Hour Championships in Bergamo, Italy. He also finished fourth in Europe, narrowly missing out on the bronze medal.
Eoin is arguably the best all round athlete in the country as demonstrated by his talents in a diversity of distances and disciplines.
In addition to his elite international performance at 24 Hour running, Eoin finished 11th at the World Trail Challenge in France; won the Wicklow Way Ultra, Art O'Neill Challenge, Mourne Way Marathon, Causeway Coast Marathon and National Adventure Marathon in Ireland; won 11 mountain races to take two overall IMRA League titles; participated in the Trans Alps Mountain Bike race; won the Gael Force Cycle West 24-Hour Mountain Bike Race; finished 9th in the world's biggest multi-disciplinary adventure race - the Eco Primal Quest; and set a new record for the Wicklow Round.
